What Does Mr. Porter has to Offer

Online shoppin should be a delight since you have the option of laying on your bed with your laptop open and buying away from the best designers without really bothering to leave your home. Well after browsing through Mr. Porter (http://www.mrporter.com/) I am not fully convinced that its a good idea, because its offerings are very limited. I have browsed through and I have found a few stuff that I might spend my money on. For the understated, Mr. Porter might be a delight. For me I felt unfulfilled really. My crave in fashion is wearing something fresh and new that not anyone would wear. There are days where I would go for a very mature look, like a shirt, blazer and jeans, but they are rare. The trend victim picked the following as potential purchases from Mr. Porter http://www.mrporter.com/ :

Alexander Mc Queen:

Balenciaga:

Gucci:
 Maison Martin Margiela:

What are Men in New York streets wearing

Have you ever wondered what are men wearing this season in the city of cities, New York! Well they sure know their trends and the term 'effortless chic'. While I was browsing GQ.com I came across these pics and though I might share them with you. What I like about New Yorkers is that they don't go for the preppy matchy matchy looks. They tend to be more confident in combining different colors that  may clash but in the end work all together. The main trend that Mr. Fashionisto should note down is the man clutch! Most men that are obsessed about fashion have them.

Talent Spotlight: Mr. NINH NGUYEN AMAZES in his NY FASHION SHOW

The talented Mr. Ninh Nguyen has debuted one of his first collections in New York this week. To be honest I was amazed with his talent as he has given fresh designs that are unique with their details. Every coat or jacket had individuality and character. I would personally wear every peace that was shown in the collection. Ninh comes from a well educated background, where he has studied medicine and psychology, and we should thank God now he is sharing his talent with the world by tapping into fashion. Please visit his website  http://www.ninhnguyen.co/ to know more about his designs and talent. Be a fan of his page in Facebook and support this talent and hopefully we will see more of his work soon. Below are some of the pics from the fashion show (please click the image to enlarge).

ALEXANDER MC QUEEN! BLACK, WHITE, RED & ORANGE

The late Alexander Mc Queen has left us, but his name is still up high in the fashion world. His art is still with us through the collections that still did not lose their Alex Mc Q spirit. The fall collection mainly consists of my favourite colors that are forever classic- Black, White, Red and Orange. The military style, as seen on the runway continues to evolve and is still relevant, which I am so thankful for. The Mc Queen house have made sure that they stay Iconic, and that is what they have showed us in their latest collection.

D SQUARED Introduce Another Definition for Layering

The twins have had a signature trade mark when it comes to clothing, they always mesh casual with formal and give at an edge. Known for their love of bow ties and denim, usually formal on the top and casual at the bottom when it comes to their designs. Their fall collection have hit the runways, although I have a mixed feeling on this collection, I still consider them in my top 5 fave designers. There were some not well put together looks, the shock factor for me is introducing 'Aprons' as a peice of clothing! but in general they totally delivered when compared to this fall's collections from other designers which lacked inspiration.

The Messy Apron!!!?

Yes! Leather! A+ for that

White Apron!? Not Convinced!

Fall must have 'Leather Pants'
