Givenchy Spring 2011- Confirm Leopard trend to stay

I have posted this because I love their different take on leopard... I personally like the Black print and the white print. The masks are also an innovative look on the runway! I love the shock factor that they have used (masked slasher killer). But I have to say they could've done better with this collection, a lot of leapard material is just too much! Im already getting over it! ... But I love the male jumpsuit!! Im posting my fave picks.

Rad Hourani: Futuristic in Black and White

I am a huge supporter of new designers in the Industry. Rad Hourani has established himself as an innovative designer when he first introduced his collection in 2007 at Paris. In three years he has a built a name in fashion and brought a fresh futuristic look this season. Black and white with leathers is the theme in his collection with layered strong structured cuts.

Look out for this trend this winter: Folded Jeans above the Boots

Balmain had an interesting way of showing off the rugged military boots. No more tucking in the jeans, and making boots more uncomfortbale. Go for a comfier approach and fold the jeans on top of the military boots. Balmain has showed this look in its Runway show for the 2011 collection as seen below:

Another look Balmain has in this season is socks on top of the jeans going above the boot length (an interesting look for the fashion forward).

Get Furry For this Winter

Winter has already arrived, and you have to face it with style. Try to incorporate 'Faux Fur' in your outfit. Don't go Fur crazy and wear it top to bottom, always remember less is more. You can wear a peice that has a fur detail, or an accessory that has fur (i.e. gloves, boots, messenger bag). The runways for 2010-2011 collections have already established that furs are here to stay this season.
